grow in their faith. Teaching PSR gives her an opportunity to become
involved with the children and their families in parish activities,
helping them recognize that they are an important part of the parish
family. Maria is married and has two daughters who attend Our Lady
of Providence day school. She also manages to work a part-time job
for Edward Jones. Her spare time is spent enjoying time with her family
and supporting her daughters in all their activities.

at St. Lucas Preschool and looks forward to meeting up with some of
them when they come to PSR at OLP. She has been a member of Our Lady
of Providence for many years and serves as a Eucharistic minister.

When free, Kathy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading
and is working on her game of golf.
NANCY
BEAMANN will begin her sixth
year as a PSR teacher for the 2006/07 school year. Her own children
attended PSR here at OLP. Loving children and the opportunity to open
the word of God brought her to serving as a catechist to our third
graders. Nancy does infant childcare at St. Philip’s Early Childhood
Center for her full time job. She donates her time making up the altar
server’s schedule and works closely with these young children
during the training sessions. Besides spending time with her husband

baking and attending movies.

ways to serve God and neighbors. Stephanie is married with four children.
Two of her children are graduates of OLP day school and the other
two still attend. PSR enables Stephanie to know the kids beyond venues
such as sports or Girl Scouts. Stephanie works as an office administrator.
She enjoys spending time with her family and serving as volleyball
coach for her daughter’s team.
SISTER

her third year with PSR. An Augusta, MO native and big cardinal fan,

Our Lady of Perpetual Help. After 38 years in teaching she missed
connection with a parish and chose to join Our Lady of Providence.
Fifth grade is her favorite grade. This is a year of transition from
primary to junior high. Sister finds it a real privilege to help develop
Catholic faith and knowledge of our practices.

with her family Christie enjoys gardening.
