St. Paul had this kind of
stewardship in mind when he wrote
"There are different
gifts but the same spirit; there are different ministries but
the same Lord; there are different works but the same God who
accomplishes all of them in everyone. To each person the manifestation
of the spirit is given for the common good." (1 Cor. 12:47)
The
commission we received in baptism makes us accountable for how we
use the time and talents God entrusted to us for spreading the Gospel
and preparing His Kingdom. At home, in the workplace, in our community
and parish, we are called, Jesus says, to be salt and leaven—essential
ingredients which, though small in quantity, make all the difference
in quality. You are welcome to join us, and sit in on one of our
meetings to acquaint yourself with the group. Or if you decide to
share your time and talent with us we would be delighted to have
you do so. Call Jim Richter at 968-9945
