SOCIAL GROUPS

FIFTY PLUS CLUB
All parishioners aged 50 and over are welcome to come together to share interests, friendship, spirituality, and cultural enrichment. These men and women share their time and talent by participating in friendship and fellowship. Fifty Plus members attend the 7:30 am Mass every first Friday and then enjoy breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria. If you are interested in joining, call Irene Wolfe at 849-8745.

MEN’S CLUB
The OLP Men’s Club is an organization open to all men, both current and former members of the parish. Its purpose is to promote the spiritual, cultural and social life of the men of the parish. The Club sponsors programs and activities such as fish fries and Breakfast with Santa in furtherance of these goals. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm in the school cafeteria. Please join us in sharing our time and talent in behalf of our parish. For more information contact Garland Beaudean at 544-7630.

MINISTRY OF MOTHERS SHARING (MOMS)
This is a group for women, especially mothers of any age, who participate in a six-week program of sharing and study that allows them to deepen their spirituality as mothers and women. Follow-up programs are offered and the participants get to know people all across the age spectrum. For information contact Carolyn Conboy at 849-4713

QUILTERS
The quilters meet in the rectory basement every Tuesday at 9:00 am to create quilts for the “Quilt of the Month Club,” a fundraising project of the St. Ann Sodality and for various other projects in the parish. This is a perfect opportunity for ladies to share of their time and talents. Additional quilters are always welcome and are asked to call Gert Wegman at 843-3404.

ST. ANN SODALITY
The Sodality’s purpose is two-fold: to honor the Blessed Mother and to assist the parish community through various activities. The Sodality sponsors the Marthas, a group of women who aid parishioners in time of need; the Quilters; the annual Christmas Cookie sale; and annual Day of Recollection; and various other spiritual and social activities as the need arises. Their use of their time and talents touches innumerable people each year. Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Providence Room.
