“My goal is to help my students
stay focused on Christ as a role model and guide, to help them develop
academic and friendship skills, and to encourage an enthusiasm for
learning.”
I earned a B. S. in Elementary Education
from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. I have also completed
graduate work in Environmental Studies at S.I.U. Edwardsville. I have
a Lifetime Missouri Teacher Certificate for Grades K - 8 and for Grades
7 - 9 Math and Science. I began my years at OLP as the first grade
teacher’s aide. After four years I became the first grade teacher
and have completed ten years in that position.
I
like the way teaching at OLP is like being part of a very big family.
“We show our interest in each other in many different ways,
by praying for each other and cheering each other on. Every year I
have been impressed by the level of student preparedness and the level
of involvement and support from their parents. What lucky kids we
have at OLP!”
