“My goal is to help each
child in my classroom to reach his/her greatest potential while developing
a love for learning in a caring, Christian environment.”
I obtained a B.S. degree in Education
from the University of Missouri-St.Louis. I have a Lifetime Missouri
Teaching Certificate in the areas of Special Education (K-9) and Elementary
Education (K-8). I also have lifetime Religion certification through
the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Currently, I am in my 16th year as the
3rd grade teacher at Our
Lady of Providence School. My first eight years at OLP were as Kindergarten
teacher. Prior to that, I
had taught 2nd grade at Epiphany of Our Lord School.
Obviously, I love teaching at OLP! The family atmosphere is amazing
and I appreciate the respectful attitude that the children exhibit
as a result of their Christian upbringing. I enjoy the ability to
share my faith and prayer with the students on a daily basis. I am
grateful every day for the chance to work with children...I can't
imagine a more rewarding job!
