“My goal, as a teacher, is
to instill Christian values in my students. I also hope to develop
a love of learning in every student so they can achieve their full
academic potential. ”
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary
Education from Benedictine College in 1974. I have Lifetime Missouri
certification, in grades K-8. I also have current certification from
the Archdiocese of St. Louis as a catechist. Through the years I have
completed several graduate courses in
elementary curriculum areas.
I am beginning my fourteenth year at Our Lady of Providence. For the
past thirteen years I have been the fifth grade homeroom teacher and
language arts teacher for fourth grade. This year I am excited to
be the fourth grade homeroom teacher and religion and English teacher
for fifth grade.
I love teaching at OLP because I believe we have some of the greatest
students, staff, and parents in the St. Louis area. There is such
a spirit of cooperation and a feeling of “family”. Everyone
works together for the betterment of our students. I feel privileged
to be a part of this school community.
