“My goal is to help my students
develop a love for learning, especially during the middle school years.
In my math classes, students will not only learn the basic math skills,
but they will learn multiple strategies for problem solving."
I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education
from the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 1998. I have also
completed some graduate work at Washington University. I taught at
Linda Vista Catholic School from 1998 to 2009. While at Linda Vista
I had the opportunity to teach middle school math and science along
with 5th grade reading, spelling, and English. I have been a homeroom
teacher for grades five and seven.
I love teaching at Our Lady of Providence. During my first year at
OLP, I was most impressed with the level of self discipline shown
by the middle school students. Our middle school students are extremely
motivated, hard-working, and always willing to give their best effort.
The support given by the parents at OLP is also extraordinary. I feel
very lucky to be a part of such a warm and supportive school community.
