Extraordinary
Ministers of the Eucharist
Communion ministers aid the celebrant in distributing the Eucharist
to the assembly. They also serve as sacristans, cleaning and setting
out the sacred vessels. Those who would take this role must meet
certain requirements. Anyone interested in this role should talk
with the pastor. Extraordinary ministers and sacristan assignments
are scheduled by Lisa Bozdeck, 314-729-0653 or mrsboz29@yahoo.com.
Lectors
Lectors should be qualified and prepared to proclaim the Scripture
readings so they come alive to the assembly. They also read the
general intercessions and make announcements. Anyone interested
in becoming a lector should contact Jo Ann Perkins,
270-3118, jerkinsperkins@netscape.net.
Ushers and Greeters
In mirroring Christ we strive to be inviting and hospitable, meeting
the needs of those who join us in worship. We are in the process
of organizing this ministry. We welcome men and women who would
like to serve the assembly in this way. If you are interested in
this service, contact Jo Ann Perkins, 270-3118, jerkinsperkins@netscape.net.
Music
Music raises our worship to a higher level whether it is instrumental,
a single voice, or the voices of the assembly united in song. We
welcome instrumentalists of all kinds, cantors who will sing the
responsorial psalm and lead the assembly, and adults who would like
to join our choir. If you can contribute to our worship in this
way contact Linda DiFranco at 802-8900. (Lean

Education and Formation
This group works to increase the assembly’s understanding
of the liturgy, to develop the theme of a season, and to offer opportunities
to grow spiritually.
Art and Environment
Our worship is enhanced by its setting. A variety of ministries
work toward this end.
Artists, designers, craftspeople and helpers prepare and install
banners and other decorations appropriate to the liturgical season.
To contribute in this way. Please contact the parish
office if you can help.
